We will be accepting Presentations and PowerPoints by email.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS:
FRIDAY APRIL 10, 2020

Judging will be completed by Monday, April 20th and winners will be notified
no later than Friday, April 24th.





An INVITATION TO COLLEAGUES IN PSYCHOLOGY

The Oklahoma Psychological Society (OPS) invites you to participate in our Annual Spring Conference.
The 38th Annual Conference will be held entirely online this year in response to COVID-19.
We are still accepting submissions with all of the previously stated deadlines in place. 

There will be 4 submission categories:

1 - Judged papers - which will include a completed 15-20 page paper AND the PowerPoint presentation

2 – Papers - which will include the PowerPoint presentation

3 - Judged Posters - which will include the 750 word synopsis AND an electronic image of your poster

4 – Posters - which will include just the electronic image of the poster.

PLEASE NOTE:
These are the same 4 categories of submission we've always had, the only difference is we are asking for completed Power Point presentations and an image (.Jpg, Jpeg, .tif, etc) of the completed poster.

REGISTRATION & OPS MEMBERSHIP

Conference registration fees have been waived, but you must register to participate.
Registration must be made in advance.

All conference presenters must be members of or join OPS.

Yearly membership dues for OPS are $15 for students and $25 for faculty.

***SUBMISSIONS***

Proposals for posters, papers are encouraged. Using APA style, prepare a 100 to 250 word abstract. Attach a copy of the abstract when submitting a proposal (form below). Proposals (abstracts & information sheet for Proposal) are to be submitted to Dr. Newell via email (link below titled Proposal for Presentation Form).

Please do not email professors directly. Make sure to email OPS.

Notification of acceptance will be sent to the email address provided on the registration form on or before April 14, 2020.

If you want your paper to be considered for an award, then you need to submit (attach to email), in addition to the above materials, a 15 paged, APA-style paper, AND Power Point presentation by Friday, April 10, 2020.  We encourage students and faculty to submit their projects in any state. To be considered for an award, you will need to have a project with data.
